Sacramento · J Street
From the first pour of the morning to the last call at night — Public Market Bar is where Sacramento comes together over something made with care.
Public Market Bar opened on J Street with a simple idea: a neighborhood space where the coffee is as considered as the cocktails, where the food is seasonal and honest, and where you're welcome at any hour.
We source our beans from roasters who treat the entire chain from farm to cup with intention. Our bar team builds cocktails from scratch — house-made shrubs, fresh-pressed juices, and bitters that change with the seasons.
The kitchen keeps things lean and focused: small plates that work with a drink or a meal, built around what's good that week. Bread arrives from a local bakery. Vegetables come from farms in the Central Valley. Wine and beer are chosen to match the mood of the room.
Sacramento is our home. Every detail — from the terracotta tile to the reclaimed wood bar — was chosen to make this feel like a place that belongs here.
Hours
We host gatherings of 10 to 60. Full bar, custom menus, and a space that feels entirely yours. Reach out and we'll make it happen.
